Jayden Daniels, a standout athlete known for his smooth and fluid play style on the field, was the inspiration behind this logo redesign. The goal was to capture his signature smoothness and translate it into a unique and dynamic design.
DESIGN DIRECTION
To reflect Jayden Daniels’ smooth, fluid style, I immediately thought of cursive writing, as it allows for natural flow between letters. I created a smooth and fluid “JD” logo with sharp edges, emphasizing both elegance and strength. The number 5, representing Daniels’ jersey number, is subtly hidden in the negative space, adding an extra layer of meaning and connection to his identity.
